A lot commercial websites write about working in The Netherlands. Some of them even offer permits for money. Don't trust those websites! The only websites you can trust are the offical websites of the Dutch government, like Overheid.nl and Postbus51.nl.
This is a PDF document with information about working and living in The Netherlands. [Download the brochure]
Important information in the brochure
* Anyone wanting to work and live in the Netherlands,
needs a valid passport or identity document. You must also have proof that you have access to Dutch medical insurance.
* If you have the nationality of a European Union (EU) country, the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, then you may work in the Netherlands. This is known as the freedom of movement of workers.
* The freedom of movement does not apply to workers from all other countries. You may only work in the Netherlands if your Dutch employer has a work permit for you. You also need a residence permit. (If you are Bulgiarian or Romanian a residence permit is not required.)
* If you are going to work in the Netherlands and pay tax, you will need a Citizen Service Number (Burgerservicenummer, BSN). This is a unique identity number for your contacts with the state.
